This is my blog from the Summer of 2010 while studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland and London, England. It is to serve as a memory for myself as well as a way to keep in touch with friends and family.

Day 18: Horse Market and Fourth of July at the U.S. Ambassadors House
Happy Fourth of July! Today is Sunday the fourth of July and we started it off by visiting the Horse Market that happens the first sunday of every month. It was kind of a quiet market but it was neat to see all the horses and how a lot of people who were riding them simply ride them bareback.
After that we went to the U.S. Ambassador for Irelands home in Phoenix Park to volunteer and get to actually do something for the fourth of July. This was Rachel and I on the Lawn During lunch. Before that we were helping with the bouncy houses for younger kids, helping with temporary tattoos and other set-up needs. It was fun, but lucky for us we had a lot of time to hang out. THey had hamburgers and hotdogs for lunch, chips and nachos before that, mini hagendas ice cream cups, some american football and other things. It was a good day and now we are all wiped.
Megan and I on the lawn at lunch as well
